“The Swan No.1” is painted by the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint in 1915. The work depicts a white and a black swan and is found in the category Illustrations and Abstract. Hilma af Klint had her very own style, but her abstract art follows the traces of modernism, impressionism and cubism. She was a modernist and pioneer in abstract art and did not make her international breakthrough until 1986 at the Los Angeles County Museum in the exhibition, The Spiritual in Art, Abstract Painting 1890 1985. This beautiful poster with its symbolism also has black text and is easy to combine with other art and graphic motifs in the same shades to create a wonderful feeling in your home.
