Tips on how to hang paintings in the bathroom

When hanging paintings in your bathroom, it's important to first check what options you have. If you have concrete walls, you can use standard picture hooks or screws. However, make sure you use a wall plug for the screw. The plug prevents water from entering the wall and causing water and moisture damage.

If you have tiles all over your bathroom, you might want to leave your drill and hammer in the toolbox. Damaged tile poses a risk of moisture damage while being ugly and expensive to repair (if it's even possible to get the same tile today). For fully tiled bathrooms, you can use a self-adhesive ceiling hook with water-resistant adhesive. These hooks can usually bear quite a lot of weight and you don't risk cracking your tiles. Another classic is to hang a poster or painting on the inside of the bathroom door;
