Grainstack, Sun in the Mist is painted by the French artist Claude Monet in 1891 and is found in the category Illustrations and Abstract. The painting represents a haystack. Monet studied the haystacks during different seasons of the year when the sunlight changed. Here the stack can be seen in the morning light where the fog is still like a veil over the fields. Henri Matisse was one of the pioneers of Impressionism in the second half of the 19th century and had a strong emphasis on landscape painting where he focused on painting the effects of light with broken colors and fast brushstrokes. "Grainstack, Sun in the Mist" gives a calm and harmonious feeling with its beautiful colors in beige, golden brown, pink and blue tones. If you look closely, you see a patchwork of small broken brushstrokes, but if you go back one step, the colors merge and give a shimmering, almost luminous effect to the image. The motif is against a white background and has black text at the bottom. The poster is easy to combine with other art and graphic motifs in the same shades to create a wonderful feeling in your home.
